Description
Things we will learn:
- Cannelé is considered to be a distorted weft structure.
- Cannelé is considered to be a distorted weft structure.
The Cannelé curves are created by framing the units (cells) with a
heavy weft thread. The tie-down warps only lightly hold the curves ni
place, allowing the heavy weft thread to shift towards the centre of the warp floats. - Weft floats only appear on the "top" surface, warp floats appear on both surfaces -the "top" and the "bottom".
- The length of the floats in the weft depends on the distance between the warp floats.
