Description
The subject is Marian Powell's method of drafting Shadow Weave, and it is brilliant. This is also our first episode where there is theory and projects for both 4 and 8 shafts.
Things we will learn:
- the importance of high contrast in shadow weave
- the visual difference between preferred and secondary patterning
- how shadow weave can still be interesting woven with a single weft colour
