Description
Who knew we could take M's & O's out on a date with Huck and bring colour and weave along for the ride? And what a ride it is! I had so much fun creating this episode.
Things we will learn:
- How we can blend ideas from one structure with another
- using huck theory to influence M's & O's
- making units and blocks symmetrical
- overlaying colour and weave ideas onto this new threading system
- we can overlay C&W thread by thread, unit by unit, or block by block
- how to get a nice selvedge on M's & O's
- Using floating selvedges allow us to have multiple picks in a shed to accentuate your curves :)
- having borders that are solid colour allow us to track where we are in the treadling
- that you might not appreciate the amazing things that will happen until you WASH it!
- Oh, and you're going to learn how to count out your picks, and D's and L's so you stay on track.
