Louët Jane Loom

Designed by a weaver for weavers, this table loom offers exceptional features and performance to make any weaving project a snap. Jan Louët modified the old Louët Kombo table loom based on Jane Stafford's wish list. The Jane Loom is the wonderful result.

The  compact and portable Jane loom is made from solid beech wood, carefully finished and lacquered. The levers are made from real wood, and key mechanical components feature durable materials, including steel gears instead of plastic. This makes the Jane not only beautiful to look at, but also sturdy, reliable, and built to last for many years.

One of the great advantages of the Jane is that it can easily be folded, even with a warp still on the loom! This makes it compact and easy to take with you to a course, workshop, or weaving group. For extra protection, a padded carrying bag is also available for the 50 cm version. Add the Jane loom stand and you are ready to go!

All Louët looms come supplied with "Texsolv" string heddles and tie-up cords allowing for quiet operation and easy tie-ups.

The 16-shaft Jane comes standard with a shuttle race. For the 8-shaft version, the shuttle race is available as an optional accessory.

Available in three sizes:

• Jane 50: 19 ½" (50 cm) weaving width

• Jane 70: 27 ½″ (70 cm) weaving width
• Jane 90: 35 ½″ (90 cm) weaving width
