School of Weaving Kit – s07e09 M’s & O’s with Huck Theory

Things we will learn:

• How we can blend ideas from one structure with another
• using huck theory to influence M’s & O’s
• making units and blocks symmetrical
• overlaying colour and weave ideas onto this new threading system
• we can overlay C&W thread by thread, unit by unit, or block by block
• how to get a nice selvedge on M’s & O’s
• Using floating selvedges allow us to have multiple picks in a shed to accentuate your curves 🙂
• having borders that are solid colour allow us to track where we are in the treadling
• that you might not appreciate the amazing things that will happen until you WASH it!
• Oh, and you’re going to learn how to count out your picks, and D’s and L’s so you stay on track.
