Much more pink than expected, but the project I bought for (shrink pleated weaving) required me to boil the wool and in that process the pink came out and the colour became more like vanilla cake and much less ballet shoe. I would use this wool for any project that requires shrinkage/ boiling but for a project you are going to wash cold I would be wary about that colour you’re really looking for. The fibre is soft but sturdy as a weft (I used cotton as the warp), it never tore while I was weaving. It had a beautiful drape fresh off the loom and now has a little less drape since shrinking but still feels great to the touch.
