All the lower part of the sheds on my newly dressed loom have no tension while the upper sheds are fine in tension. Checked tie-up and it is OK and I don’t see anything else wrong or broken. What’s wrong and how do I correct it?
I’m fairly certain that if you check your warp you will find that it is not going over the back beam. Sometimes we get a little ahead of ourselves and thread straight off of the warp beam. You can fix it without rethreading your loom. Unscrew the back beam, take the tension off your warp, slip the back beam under the warp and screw it back in place. Whenever I get this complaint that is the cause.
