I bought a 36 inch Spring loom from you a number of years ago and have recently been having a problem with the tension being too tight on one side and too loose on the other. I lengthened the texsolv cord coming from the spring on one side and it is better so went looking with a tape measure. One spring is 15.5 inches long and the other is 14.25 inches. Should the springs be changed periodically?
When you take all the tension off your springs are they still different lengths? If they are the same, then you just need to make sure that there are ‘close’ to the same number of holes along the texsolv cords before attaching to the front breast beam legs. If the holes are slightly different in number to get the legs straight it doesn’t really matter as long as your legs are straight.
