Well, I knew this day would come, I pulled a big warp off the mill without having tied the cross! I saved most of the one side closest to the end, but the whole other side of the cross doesn’t look good. I’m a bit overwhelmed by this. Any tips on how to efficiently save it? Thank you in advance!
We’ve all done this, believe me…I actually did this a few months ago, after all of these years. Even with one lease stick in, I was able to get it spread out in the raddle without too much mess. I watched for my colour changes and got everything spread out as best I could. In the end it wasn’t so bad. A little bit of twisting but it all worked its way out as I advanced the warp forward. It is worth trying.
