I bought some of this yarn from you and am trying to use it as weft for a collapse weave. I did not realize the yarn was actually 2 yarns. Should the yarn be laid in flat? pulled a little? Does the fabric collapse off the loom? after washing?? both? How do I keep the 2 colcolastic yarns lined up? I seem to end up with more of the cotton.
It is two yarns and all you have to do it make sure you anchor both ends at the selvedge. Then just weave. You don’t need to pull them or stretch them in the shed. As soon as you wash the fabric the cotton moves with the stretched elastic and the fabric collapses.
