I am warping up a Louet David for the first time in many years.  I have the blocking pin in while warping.  I do not remember, nor does the manual mention it – do I need to put the blocking pin back in when I stop weaving for the day?

The blocking pin is used to stabilize the harnesses for threading.  Once you have finished threading your loom, out it comes, the shelf goes on you are ready to weave.  If you didn’t take it out you wouldn’t be able to make a shed.
