I am a new weaver and am wondering about reeds. Do most reeds fit on most looms? I am asking because I am in the process of acquiring a Delta loom. I have half a dozen reeds mixed sizes etc. already and so am unclear if I can use them on the Delta or do I need to get ‘Delta’ reeds of varying dents? I realize the lengths of the reeds vary but are they still usable on the Delta within the limits the width of fabric they will allow.
You will be able to put any reed into your Delta..… it holds deep reeds or narrow reeds, even wider reeds than your weaving width because it is open on the ends. Keep your old reeds :^)
