I am sure this question has been addressed by Jane, but I cannot find  the answer.  I was weaving with 8/2 cotton and 4 threads at EACH  selvage progressively got tighter.  When I finished a towel, I decided to cut off and rebeam back on as I was trying to figure out what I did wrong.  Well, those 4 threads at each selvage were now about 6 inches shorter than the rest of the warp!  Was it due to draw in, improper angling of the weft, or was the sett wrong at my selvages (should I have dented them differently?)?  Any thoughts on why this happened would be greatly appreciated!  I find if I understand why it happened, I am more likely NOT to repeat the error!  Thanks for the guidance!
