Wowie Zowie Kapowie! My mind is blown! I’ve used FiberWorks for quite awhile but knew I wasn’t using the program’s full capacity. This is amazing! So excited to expand how I use this amazing tool!

I’m looking at the pdf for this sample. #1 says “Supps Down” and I don’t know what that means.

        #2 says “1” down, 1″ pw, 1″ down”.

        #3 says “1” down, 1″ pw, 1″ down”.

And so forth – does “down” mean the treadles 1 and 2 marked “down”?

Sorry the video seems to say something different but my brain is iffy sometimes.

I forgot to say: thank you so much for replying! It is helpful to know I’m not alone in this process of learning!

I did retie them all, and things are progressing more smoothly! I googled “tying on linen apron” and found several comments that linen may be wiggly at the start but should behave after the header is woven. I found this to be true!

Hi! On the Sample #2 Colour & Weave Gamp, Page 2, under Colour sequence on page 2, the 7th line down says, “48 DDDD/LLLL – warping with two ends in your hand” Unclear on what this means – do I hold four darks together and four lights together? Or…?

I feel clear about “48 D/L warping with two ends in your hand”, “44 DD/LL with four ends in your hand”, and even “50 D/L/DD/L with five ends in your hand”, but the above has me stumped.

I wove a towels and a napkin 18 epi and they turned out nicely – washed and ironed in hems to but haven’t stitched yet. Opened the sett up to 12 epi and came here for ideas and inspiration. I have no boucle, so have been deciding whether to use 8/2, 8/4, or 3/2. I’m seeing here that people have used 8/2, 8/4, and wool! So tomorrow I’m ready to see what happens with 12 epi with other sizes until I run out of warp.

My selvedges aren’t great but I was concentrating on squares and ppi. Also I have done better with starting new colors. These are, however, high contrast, so it’s great practice getting all the pieces and parts together!

Do mohair blankies continue to shed over their lives?

Thank you – that makes perfect sense, but I was reluctant to proceed without some support. Much appreciated.
