      Hi,

I am finally trying my hand at double weave.  I am a bit worried because I only have  10 dent and a 13 dent reeds.  I can get the epi with the 10 dent one. I am threading it 1,2,2 to get 16 ends per inch.  Do you have any thoughts on how this will affect the project?

      Thanks,

      Jane Sullivan

        Hi,

I am just getting around to downloading the FIberworks for Mac. I have version Catalina 10.15.5 and everytime I try to open the download I get the message below.

“Bronze” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

        Can you help?

        Thanks

I have finally put the warp for the scarves on my loom.  I am now ready to tie on to the front beam.  I have huge differences in the length between the silk and the wool.  I have been tugging on the wool to try to even it out.  Is this normal when using yarns so different together in the same warp?

          Thanks.

Hi Jane, I have a few questions to ask you. At one point, you mentioned that you wove the sample on a counter balance loom. Is the tie-up on the pdf for a counter balance loom or a jack loom? (I have just acquired a counter balance loom after weaving primarily on a jack loom) Will the tie-up be the same on both types of looms?
How do you accommodate a loom with 6 treadles instead of 8 to weave the sample? Is it as simple as changing the tie-up of the supplementary warp?
Thank you for helping me to be a much better and more efficient weaver!
