Quick question–when weaving basket weave, can you use a double bobbin shuttle, and only throw it once?  I just got a double bobbin shuttle, and haven’t used it yet.  Thanks.

This was definitely my favorite episode, although I say that a lot.  I have an 8 shaft loom, and I have woven turned twill, but I didn’t really understand the structure or what the possibilities were.  So thank you for including this episode.  I understand why the bulk of the episodes are for four shaft looms, but I hope you will occasionally provide at least some discussion of how a weave structure could be used on an 8 shaft loom, and maybe an example or two, so that we are more aware of the possibilities, and the theory behind it.  We can all pull patterns from 8 shaft books, but understanding the theory behind the structure is so much more helpful.

Thanks Ginette. I was looking for that option on my computer, but its not there. I have a Mac, so maybe that is the issue. However, I was able to reduce the scale for that page to 60%, and the other pages to 90% for the other pages, and that worked. Also, the page immediately following the photo of all of the samples is labeled page 4, but its the 3rd page of the PDF. Is something missing, or just mis-numbered?
          Thanks,
          Jacquie

When I printed the PDF, the page(s)? showing the actual weaving samples, #1-17, was apparently too large, and so only samples 5-14 printed. The next page in the PDF is page 4, which seemed to suggest that maybe the samples were supposed to print on two pages (2 & 3)? Is there a way you can reformat the PDF to break that page into two pages so that it will all print? Any other suggestions?

            Thanks,
            Jacquie
