In Germany we have to pay customs over a sum of 150 Euro, but

there is  one other thing that drives up the yarn price – the shipping costs. To send a parcel from Canada to europe is very expensive. Worth to think about holidays in Canada and you have to go without luggage but the chance to come with many yarn cones back home (-:

In the other four towels I played with stripes 34366899_1995903657149465_4574091160368185344_n

My blue green ones are finished . I get eight different towels, a little bit shorter than expected but very fun to make. I used a colour catcher, too A very great hint  cause it came out off the washing machine very blue ((-:IMG_20180304_173456

                My weekend adventure

I used yarn from my stash  white, blues and green, tried a 10 meter long warp and asked my dishwashing husband, how wide he would like his new towels, so that I used 14 as my incremental multiplyer ((-: The first three are finished. Cause I only have a 10 and 8 dent reed I used the 8 dent reed to get the “18 ” In the white  thread area you can see my sleying pattern …2223.3222… and also a sleying mistake down  in the right corner… another nice patern (-:

I think I was one of the first who watched the new episode  about all these nice wonderful looms.

Thank you so much Jane, I learned again so many !

In German we say when somebody understands….der Groschen ist gefallen,…. the penny dropped.

I think while watching this episode  I filled again a whole piggy bank thinking:  `”oh that was the reason why….”,
