        I am considering spinning and then weaving a braid of 80/20 merino/tussah silk. Normally I steam iron pieces when they come off the loom- but that’s with 100% wool.

        Any advice on ironing this blend?

          Hi Ed, Jane carefully pressed/ironed her collapse weave shawls in episode Season 1, Episode 10.6.  She wove that shawl with merino and silk.  If I weave with Zephyr, I gently iron on the wool/silk setting on my iron.  Your project sounds interesting!
