I’ve been warping a new project on my Louet David. I’ve just tied on and was getting ready to do my final tensioning. I’ve had my locking pin in through the wooden discs throughout the warping, since I had to move around some heddles. Should I remove it before the final tensioning? Should I have removed it before now? I’m not clear on when I should insert the locking pin.

        Thank you.

You can take it out now, you’re good to go!  BTW, I leave the locking pin while I’m threading and denting – it just helps me to keep everything in place while I’m the warping.

Oh good, I haven’t screwed up.  There just wasn’t much information of how and when to use the locking pin. Thanks for the quick answer.
