        Is it possible to remove the breast beam to thread the heddles on the Jane?  Or is this something you should not do on this particular loom.

          Hi Cindy,

          I have never done that ….. I just sit in a normal chair and pull the loom forward with the legs off the table to bring it closer to me.  However…I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t.  Why not give it a try…just unscrew the 2 screws on either side of the breast beam.  It will give you approx. 2-3″ more working space before you hit the cloth beam.  If it is easier for you…the will be great….if not….you’ve tried out something and learned :^)
