Video Where Jane Shows Calculating Stripes for Warp

I watched a video where Jane did a break down at the blackboard on how many ends per color threads to use when designing a striped project, but now I can’t remember which season or find the video. She was at the blackboard showing multiple stripes, then broke the stripes down into something like 20 ends of X color, 10 ends of Y color, etc.

Can someone help me find where to locate this video? I have rewatched many of the videos in season two 😊

Have you used the Online Guild Index – the PDFs or the Beta search?  I just typed stripes into the Beta search and came up with a number of links to where Jane talks about stripes.  It’s an easy way to try to find specific topics.  Happy searching!

Yes I have gone through almost every video in season two and I am not sure I watched it in this season or a later one. I will explore through “stripes” as a keyword, but do not believe she called it that. I have looked through the indexes as well and the detailed list and can’t locate it.

What is it exactly you are looking for?  If you want to have stripes that are 1” wide, and your sett is 18 epi, then you allow 18 ends for that 1” stripe.  You can design your project factoring in the sett of your cloth, using your epi as your guide.

Thank you that helps!!! I just remember in the video Jane had created wide stripes and narrow ones and I couldn’t remember how she calculated them. She walked through a few examples of what she did. Your response helped!
