I’m putting a warp on my loom to weave an undulating twill scarf. Its a 2/2 twill on 4 shafts and I’m repeating each shaft 3 times to increase the width of the piece. I end up with long floats both warp and weft, of 6 ends. Is there an optimal number of float lengths before they get too long?
