threading help needed – quick question

I am threading now for this dishtowel pattern:

I just realized that I put the extra selvedge thread on the wrong end. In the threading draft on the right, you can see that there are 10 white threads (5x 1-2). However, on the left end, there are 11 threads (5x 2-1 plus 2).

After winding on, I see that I put the 11 threads on the right end and 10 on the left.

I’m thinking that I should simply thread from the right (as I usually do), but follow the threading draft from the left.

Does anyone see any problems with this approach? Many thanks in advance!

That should work, Patricia.  Those threads are in that number sequence to keep the plain weave in the right order.
