              I could never find an explanation of the difference between 2/10 and 10/2 yarns and here it is! No difference! Just depends on where you live, they are the same thing. Sweet. Confusing…. but sweet. 😊

                      I think there is a mistake in the woolen vs worsted numbers you presented.  Worsted always has less yards per pound than woolen does.  It has to, it is more dense.

                        Is there a calculation of grams to metres? thanks!

                            Not that I know of because you have to know the size of the yarn before you can establish you many metres there are in 100 grams.  I usually try to find out how many yards or metres there are in a lb./454 g. I’m looking at and convert to the system I use for planning my weaving.
