I have done several workshops with lace and it has always seemed a bit ‘predictable’.
Of course as soon as Jane starts explaining it to us the door opens and it becomes exciting!
I never thought that I could be so interested in lace weaves – and then you add colour and a bigger door opens. Wonderful!
I can wait to do my sampler.
          Thank you Jane and Team.

I have a rising shed loom.  Is it better to just accept that everything will be reversed or should I reverse my tie up so the tie up for block A is 34. And block B is 12?

I am wondering about the handout–page 5.  At the center of the threading (the 2 gray threads), it says “bottom shaft 4.”  I’m don’t know what that means.  Thanks for your help.

Jane is just pointing out those 2 ends of grey on shaft 4 that need to be threaded.  That’s after you have threaded your 114 white.

Maybe it is supposed to say “both on shaft 4,” rather than “bottom shaft 4.”

Can I ask why you do all of the weaving and treadling for rising shed ?  That’s what had me confused because I have a sinking shed.
