Can’t wait to start, but must hold myself back until Saturday!  Really looking forward to this episode.

Commenting now because I have to say, Jane-  Love Love your new headset!  This way you can hold up the samples in front of you as much as you like without worrying  🙂

I have a question on the warp sequence of canvas weave.  I am an inexperienced weaver and I have lots of “why”questions. I wind 114 white, 2 gray and 110 white.  Is it supposed to slightly off center?  I don’t understand why it’s not 112 white, 2 gray and 112 white. I may have missed something in the videos but thought I would ask. And, this is my first time to try linen. I’m super excited. Thank you for your videos.  I would not have had the opportunity to learn these techniques if it weren’t for you.  BettY

                      Hi Betty,

Looking at the pattern, you’ll notice that both sides of the warp are different, different units and to make sure that each unit has the correct amount of threads (some with 4, some with 5 circled in red) you end up with a few extras on one of the sides, just by 4 thread. It won’t make a different with the end fabric of the sample.

You’ll enjoy weaving this one and watch it develop as you go along 🙂

Ahh, I understand now.  I did think of that. Ginette, thanks for the reply. Betty
