Thank you for pointing out the importance of details when making decisions about starting on one color or the next.  The difference can be striking.

I have a question about advancing the warp.  The texsolve ties on my Baby Wolf start to wrap around the front beam, build up, and cause lumps when the beginning of the weaving reaches them.  The knots also cause lumps.  Do you use sticks or whatever to cover the lumps?

(I asked this in lesson 1 I think but didn’t hear back…)

This is the answer to your question, based on my experience, that I posted under Season 1, Episode 3, Lesson 3.

“I have that issue on one of my looms and when that happens, I wrap a piece of cardboard over the knots, to cover my cloth beam.  Hope that helps.”

You can use the cardboard from paper towels or wraping paper.  Slit the tube and it covers the knots and Texsolv beautifully
