          I just looked at part one and the pdf of the sample I printed  off seems to be different from what Jane is showing.  My print-out only uses 4 treadles and Jane’s shows 6???

            Hi Anita,

            On the PDF that Jane shows on the video, yes there are treadles #5 & #6. These 2 treadles are actually the same as treadles #2 & #4 and it wasn’t necessary to repeat them on the draft so they were removed after the video was filmed. Hope this helps 🙂

              Perfect timing!  I was just trying to figure out how to frame with plain weave!! Thanks for such a clear description of how it works 🙂

                Can 8/4 cotton be used for warp and weft effectively instead of wool?  I just love all this experimentation.  Twills have been so great this year.  I have learned so much.  thank  you.

                  Hi, Jane says in the video that she shows basket weave the previous season but I can’t seem to find a reference to it at all so am a bit confused by this episode – could you point me in the right direction please? Thankyou 😀
