Hello, I don’t like being the problem child, but it seems I am and a brand new guild member, just signed up! Can someone explain why I cannot view the episode videos? I admit to not being a computer wiz, but I have no problems viewing videos in general on my computer. Is there a specific app I must download before being able to watch. Darn, I was so looking forward to this….

Sorry to hear you are having problems seeing the episodes, Linda! If you go to the landing page for the Forum, you’ll find a number of threads that are highlighted in yellow. There is one called FAQs – Housekeeping, JST Forum – can you check that out and see if you can get help there? If not, Let us know and we’ll get to the bottom of your problem.

Hi just about to start Twill Simple Two Stripe Sample. I’ve watched all videos. Did I miss something? How do I do clean cut lines on a 4 shaft loom / 6 treadles used for going from 1/3 twill to 3/1 twill? Do I retie my treadles? On video you have 8 shafts 1,2,3,4 then 123, 234, 134 and 124. Looking forward to my first twill sample ! Thanks

Unfortunately, Jocelyne – 1/3- 3/1 twill needs 8 treadles. Even if you did direct tie-ups, you would need to press down on 3 treadles at once to weave it 🙁 However, I just quickly scanned the rest of the Twill samples and it looks like you will be fine for the rest of the Season. Do you have access to a table loom? You could weave 1/3- 3/1 on that.
