Any problems with using a 6 dent reed with 3 ends per dent as opposed to a 12 dent with 1-2-2 ends per dent? Jane jthespinner@aol.com

This episode is incredibly inspiring. I know that I’ll be watching it more than once.

Any possibility of having tea towel exchange in online guild? I think that would be great.

Many of the towels here look to be done in twill, but this would change the colour order to do the color and weave, I imagine. So how to do these in twill?

Hi Fran, I think that the ones that were done in twill were originally done unintentionally 😉 The focus of all our samples this year is to learn what an amazing, creative and exciting structure Plain Weave can be. Colour and Weave was created for Plain Weave and you wouldn’t get the magic it was designed for in another structure. That’s what Jane designed the Colour and Weave Gamp to show us. That being said – when you are “playing” after Gamp sample – try one piece in twill, and see what happens. There are no rules!

I am so inspired! All of the beautiful colors and different ways of putting them together. If there was NOT another episode to follow this, I would still be happily weaving for the rest of my life!
Thank you Jane, your a fabulous teacher

I loved this! But I find it very frustrating not being able to see the detail clearly that you are describing. A camera directly above, maybe? Zooming right in on the details?

                                    Hi Emma,
Sorry you’re having problems seeing the details. Is there one tea towel in particular that you’re wondering about?

I generally start at 24″ on the loom.
