Hi, I am weaving on 8 shafts and am encountering a shed problem. Shaft number 2 will not give me a good shed. The wrap is about an inch above the beater on one end, and then slopes down to its proper place on the beater towards the other end. I have checked the tie up multiple times, and it all checks out. I raised the beater, I checked all the wheels etc. Nothing is coming up, and I would love to know how to fix this. Many thanks in advance to the saint who can help me figure this out!

I solved it. I started wondering what was different this time, which was the shaft end replacements from the Spring II. One shaft end came out, and a couple of unused heddles slipped through and got entangled in the other shaft. I now have all the loose heddles tied up securely, so all is good in the weaving world again.
