imagethe project I am working on currently has a dark lines in the woven fabric from the reed spacing of 1,2,2,2. The dark lines shows up when there is a single thread in the dent. Are there any tips from The forum that would make that less noticeable or do you think it will disappear when the piece is fulled?

thank you in advance for the help.

Diana, I think you’ll find that your cloth will full nicely and you won’t even notice any lines when you wash it.  All part of the magic of cutting a piece of fabric off your loom and finishing it properly – it blooms!  Unfortunately we have to wait until Episode 10 to get Jane’s advice, but you will have discovered a lot already by the time she covers the subject.  Please share a photo of your finished cloth so others can see what happened.

            Good morning

so it’s off the loom, washed, ironed while still slightly damp and you are right those lines I was worried about have disappeared. There is still one that is slightly noticeable but I think that was where I missed a dent all together.

It is so amazing to me that I can stare at a piece on the loom and not see a mistake in my weaving and the minute I wash it there they are staring me in the face.

this piece is going to be made into a small handbag for my aunt, so I can work around that line. It is going to take a few days to work up the courage to bring out the scissors. 😳IMG_0270
