I’m wondering how the cloth beam is connected to the front rod. I’m on a Harrisville loom that has grosgrain ribbons that are disruptive when I tie on. Just to make matters worse, I just accidentally cut one. I think I can replace with texsolve cords but I’m not sure how to do this. I did see Jane briefly mention replacing the apron rod with a lease stick and and texsolv but can’t find the episode.
It would be relatively easy for you to convert to Texsolv and connect your apron rod to your cloth beam. Hope these photos showing how Texsolv is used on the Louet David will help. You just need to make sure you have enough Texsolv to have your rod come up and under your front beam, giving you plenty of room to tie on your warp easily.
