David 3?

I’m hearing rumors but haven’t seen what the changes from the 2 are.  I’m considering a David as my second loom and am curious.🤔. Anyone have any info?

I too heard rumors more than a year ago that there might be some revision on the David loom (specifically regarding the beater) but I haven’t heard anything more so I am also curious about this!

I’m not sure what more they could do except add more shafts and tweak a few things.  It seems like such a well loved loom to begin with.  I may just go ahead and get the 2 since I already have a bigger loom…..

You will love having the David.  I bought a used one about 7 years ago and it had the old style beater and was not happy with the beater. I invested in the new beater and love it because it has the shuttle guide on it. It is a great little loom.

I ordered myself one and am anxiously awaiting it.  It will be quite a change from my big Glimakra!

Thank you for linking to a picture of the new David 3 loom. I had found information about what was going to be changed but could not find a picture. I am glad it now has a floor hinged beater (I used to have a David with the sliding beater and never could get used to it). Interesting that they have also re-designed the lam connections. I am tempted!
