Canvas Weave sett question

        Could I use 8/2 cotton instead of linen as I do not have linen in my stash right now?  If I can, what would my sett be?  16epi? and could I still use size 8 reed?

          I’d probably sett it at 18 epi to give a slightly tighter structure for the Canvas Weave in 8/2 cotton.  You can still use your 8 dent reed – sleying 2-2-2-3.
