        Hello!

        I am working on an overshot project (7” wide scarf) using Bambu12 for the warp and tabby and Bambu7 for the pattern weft. It is 30EPI sleyed 2/dent using a 15 dent reed. This project is on my Jane table loom.

        As I got to about 7” in to the pattern, I started having issues with a variety of warp threads throughout the width beginning to shred.These threads are not breaking but it’s like one of the plies is just shredding apart. It’s not just on the selvedges either, which is where I would expect to see the most abrasion.

        Has anyone else had an issue like this and any thoughts to how I might deal with it?
